In addition to matching your physical specifications and joining method, we can design a machine that allows for your preferences in metal type and surface, thickness, joint spacing and cycle time. In addition to repeated accuracy, FDM's machines are extremely flexible. Many units are capable of producing an unlimited array of housing sizes, requiring less than 10-minutes for tooling changeover. Our Blower Housing manufacturing stations are designed with programmable radial location of spot welds or crimps. FDM has designed these machines with a realistic, profit-minded maintenance schedule. Machine maintenance is simplified by using standard commercial components. Should a customer's existing component design not be compatible with our present automatic systems, FDM's engineers can specify the necessary changes and then modify existing designs, or provide new ones to meet your specific requirements.
